Road Closure and Safety Warnings

In the aftermath of the crash, Tamborine Mountain Road has been closed between Barry Road and Beenleigh-Beaudesert Road. Authorities are urging drivers to seek alternate routes to avoid the area. This road is known for its challenging conditions, winding through the Gold Coast hinterland with narrow lanes, sharp bends, and steep sections, which may have contributed to the accident. The closure is expected to remain in place as investigations continue and cleanup operations are conducted.

The incident underscores the dangers of this notorious mountain route, with emergency services working tirelessly to manage the scene and provide critical care to the injured. Further updates on the conditions of those involved are anticipated as medical teams assess and treat the patients at various hospitals across Queensland.
