Adelaide Man Granted Bail Twice After Brick Attacks

A man accused of throwing a brick into a car windscreen in Adelaide on Australia Day has been granted bail twice within 24 hours, as new vision emerged of another incident linked to the same individual.

Incidents Captured on CCTV

CCTV footage captured a man throwing a brick into the windscreen of a $50,000 vehicle at Euro Auto Sales, located on the corner of Oaklands and Brighton Road, around 6pm on Monday. Earlier that afternoon, a man was also seen hurling a paver into the front windscreen of a car at a Somerton Park dealership.

Arrest and Initial Charges

A 56-year-old Glenelg East man was arrested on Wednesday evening and charged with property damage. He was granted police bail following this arrest.

Further Allegations Surface

However, the behaviour allegedly did not stop there. New vision obtained by authorities reportedly shows the same person ripping an air-conditioner unit off the wall of a Park Holme business. Police stated that this person was also apprehended, charged with multiple counts of property damage, and released on police bail.

Ongoing Investigations

Detectives allege that further investigations have linked the man to additional incidents targeting businesses in Park Holme, Glenelg East, and Somerton Park. The man is due to face the Adelaide Magistrates Court on March 19.

Investigations are continuing, and anyone with information is urged to contact police to assist with the case.
