The City of South Perth is poised for a dynamic artistic transformation this April, as the acclaimed No More Blank Walls Mural Festival arrives to turn blank walls into vibrant open-air galleries. This nine-day outdoor celebration, running from April 10 to 18, 2026, will see local and international artists create live mural artworks in real-time, allowing residents to witness their neighborhoods come alive with color and creativity.
Four Precincts Selected as Artistic Canvases
The festival will focus on four key areas: South Perth, Manning, Karawara, and Kensington. Each location has been carefully chosen to serve as a canvas for large-scale murals that reflect the city's unique identity, cultural diversity, and picturesque riverside setting. The festival will feature a stellar lineup of artists, including internationally renowned Irish muralist Aches, known for his distinctive chromatic works. They will be joined by a strong Western Australian contingent, such as Amok Island, Fieldey, James Giddy, Jarni, and Rob Jenkins. Additionally, Australian creatives Loretta Lizzio, George Rose, and Justine McAllister will contribute their unique styles to the project, ensuring a diverse and captivating artistic display across the precincts.
