South Australian police have launched a significant operation targeting drug trafficking networks across the state, resulting in multiple arrests and substantial seizures of illicit substances and assets. The operation, dubbed 'Operation Clearview', involved coordinated raids at several locations in Adelaide and regional areas.

Police executed search warrants at properties in suburbs including Elizabeth, Salisbury, and Port Adelaide, as well as in the regional towns of Mount Gambier and Port Augusta. The raids led to the arrest of 15 individuals, who are now facing a range of charges related to drug trafficking, possession, and money laundering.

During the operation, authorities seized approximately 5 kilograms of methamphetamine, 2 kilograms of cocaine, and a significant quantity of cannabis. Additionally, police confiscated several vehicles, cash amounts totaling over $500,000, and various electronic devices believed to be used in coordinating drug sales.
Detective Superintendent John Smith, head of the Drug and Organised Crime Branch, stated that this operation sends a clear message to drug traffickers that their activities will not be tolerated.
