One incredibly lucky Australian has taken home more than $5.2 million in Thursday night's Powerball draw, making them an instant multi-millionaire.
Division One Winner
The winner, who resides outside of Western Australia, secured a life-changing sum of $5,213,380.20 from the division one prize. The winning numbers for draw #1562 were 11, 34, 30, 35, 28, 4, and 29, with the Powerball being 3.
Other Division Winners
Another fortunate punter won a hefty $314,467.75 from division two, though this prize was also not claimed by a Western Australian player. It was not until division three that two WA players each won a respectable $15,557.90.
This win follows last week's massive $40 million Powerball jackpot, which was also claimed by a single lucky ticket holder.
In division two, there were 21 winners who each received $36,310.60, while 104 punters took home $9,068 each.
