The family of a 48-year-old woman are urgently seeking the Canberra community's help after she disappeared without a trace. Julia Price has not been seen or heard from since Monday evening, May 4.

ACT Policing has released an image and description of Price, who was last spotted in the suburb of Garran at approximately 5pm on Monday. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a black hooded jumper, black pants, and distinctive red socks, and was not wearing any shoes.

The missing woman is described as Caucasian, with a slim build, fair complexion, and brown-blonde hair. Authorities have urged anyone who sees Price not to approach her directly but to report sightings to police immediately.

Police and family concerned

A police spokeswoman expressed the growing concern for Price's welfare. "Police and Julia's family hold concerns for her welfare, and are requesting the public's assistance to locate her," she said. "Members of the public are encouraged to report any sightings of Julia to ACT Policing rather than approaching her directly."

Anyone with information regarding Julia Price's whereabouts is urged to contact ACT Policing on 131 444, quoting reference number 8376537. The family and authorities are hoping that someone in the community may have seen her or knows where she is.
