The food standards regulator stated that the affected batch was recalled because it may be contaminated with Nitrofurazone (SEM), a chemical that could cause illness or injury if consumed. The recall applies to products with a best-before date of March 28, 2028.

Consumer Advice

Consumers have been strongly urged not to eat the product and to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. Anyone concerned about their health should seek medical advice.
