Epstein Files Confirm Infamous Photo of Ex-Prince Andrew and Accuser

Bombshell emails released as part of the Jeffrey Epstein files have seemingly confirmed the authenticity of the infamous photograph featuring ex-prince Andrew with his accuser Virginia Giuffre. The correspondence, which dates back to 2011, discusses the publication of the controversial image that shows Andrew with his arm around Giuffre while Epstein's co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell stands in the background.

Maxwell's Email Admission of Meeting

Giuffre has long claimed that Epstein and Maxwell trafficked her to the ex-prince in the early 2000s when she was just seventeen years old. Andrew has consistently denied having any sexual contact with Giuffre and previously stated he could not recall the photograph being taken. During a 2019 interview with BBC's Newsnight, Andrew suggested the photo appeared to have been taken in Maxwell's residence, a place he insisted he had never visited.

However, a newly released email from January 2015 shows Maxwell apparently confirming that Andrew and Giuffre did indeed meet. In the message to Epstein, Maxwell wrote: "I met (redacted) in Marglargo and she said she was a masseuse and she said she did house calls. She did come to the house and was brought by her mother for an interview with Jeffrey. I remained with Virginia's mother chatting until (redacted) finished the interview. Over the course of time (redacted) began working for Jeffrey. Prince Andrew came to my house to visit me — (redacted) was in the house and they did meet."

Maxwell's Draft Statement and Distancing

In another email, Maxwell sent a draft statement to someone believed to be Epstein, vehemently denying any wrongdoing. She stated: "I have never been engaged in any sexual conduct, as is alleged by (redacted). I have never abused anyone, let alone a child and I find such conduct repugnant. I find the allegations offensive and deeply hurtful."

Later correspondence reveals Maxwell's intention to distance herself from Epstein in her public statements. She wrote: "And they need me to say I was not aware of massage w/Andrew in my house. These thing they have to stay along w/meeting Virginia and rebutting those allegations."

Disturbing Revelations About Royal Family Fallout

The Epstein files contain numerous mentions of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, along with disturbing revelations about the impact on his family. One email from Epstein in 2011 reads: "Stuff is bad for Andrew's girls. Got royal protection taken away. Queen said get a job. Andrew is sad and frustrated considering abdication."

Another email from 2010 shows Andrew writing to the convicted paedophile: "God it's cold and dank here. Wish I was still a pet in your family."

Recent Developments and Police Investigation

Prince Edward recently broke the royal family's silence on the matter, stating: "It's really important always to remember the victims and who are the victims in all this." Earlier this week, Andrew moved out of his longtime Windsor home and is now residing in Norfolk, England.

In October, Andrew was ordered to vacate the 30-room Royal Lodge in the heart of the Crown's Windsor Estate, just outside London. His brother King Charles III effectively cast him out of the monarchy over the Epstein scandal. The move occurred earlier than anticipated, having been originally scheduled for after the holiday season.

British police are currently examining allegations that Epstein trafficked a second victim to the disgraced former Duke. There are growing calls for the Metropolitan Police to reopen their investigations into the matter.

Tragically, Virginia Giuffre died by suicide in April 2025, adding another layer of sorrow to this complex and ongoing scandal.
